In Irish Life we aim to provide the market leading Underwriting service across all stages in the application process.
By having the customer present with you when submitting the application, you can expect to have 50% of your customers to have their cover accepted at the point of sale.
If the application is not automatically accepted at point of sale then it is referred to our Underwriting department and will be actioned within 2 hours.
Underwriting Medical Requirements
Our aim is to action applications with returned medical or financial evidence within 24 hours of receipt.
Large Case Team
For cases where the sum assured exceeds €2M Life Cover we assign a dedicated Underwriter to look after each case.
Once a Large Case has been submitted you will receive a phone call from your dedicated underwriter within 2 hours who will look after all aspects of underwriting this application through to acceptance.
We offer a 3 hour service for urgent cases where all the Underwriting Requirements have been received and we are in a position to make a decision.
