Best / Mild cases – childhood or exercise induced asthma, minimal symptoms easily controlled on medication with no hospitalisation or oral steroids.
Moderate – regular symptoms and exacerbation with oral steroids and / or hospitalisation
Severe – Frequent symptoms requiring hospitalisation and oral steroids.
