Motor neurone disease (MND) is a group of progressive neurological disorders that destroy the motor neurons - cells that control voluntary muscle activity including speaking, walking, breathing, swallowing and general movement of the body. Symptoms generally present between the ages of 40 and 60 years and can include involuntary jerking, progressive muscular weakness, muscle wasting and difficulty swallowing and chewing. As yet there is no cure of MND and as a result the outlook is poor. At present we are unable to quote any terms for any benefit.
