A cyst is a sac which contains fluid, gas or soft material. They can be found in virtually any organ in the body. Most single cysts once surgically removed do not represent an additional risk. A lipoma is a common benign tumour of fatty cells usually occurring on the back or abdomen and is of no consequence.
Ovarian cyst – occurs on or within the ovary. They may present with pelvic pain, menstrual abnormalities, infertility or may be completely symptom free.
