Pituitary Tumour

The pituitary gland makes hormones that control many other glands in the body. A pituitary tumour is a growth of abnormal cells in the pituitary gland. Most tumours of the pituitary gland are benign and slow growing. Symptoms may include headache, loss of vision and infertility. Treatment may include surgery, radiation therapy and drug therapy.
